Week Four
Some new learning for me this year is sign language. So far I know how to finger spell my name, say the alphabet and ask a couple of questions to people. One of my goals is to learn sign language completely by the end of this year. It could be a bit difficult :) 😁
Also some of the things I am doing this year are.... Winter hockey, Netball, Guitar, Kapa haka, Epro 8, Cheerleading, Extention Maths, Sign language.
I learnt my way around the school and most of the things it has to offer. I also learnt all 4 of the houses... HILARY - Yellow, TK - Blue, Nepia - Black and Sheppard - Red.
In the first half of term 1 I am doing Electronics Tech and there are 5 techs.. Food Tech, Electronics Tech, Hard Materials Tech, Media Tech and Science Tech. In Electronics Tech we are learning about Circuits and Breadboards and we are creating torches. The Tech I would lOVE to be in Food Tech but I am not doing that until later in the year😞. In music we are learning the guitar and how to read music. I am also doing separate guitar lessons in a small groups on wednesday at 8:40.
