Week 9

This week we have started a competition about looking after eggs. 21 people from our class have joined the competition which officially started on Tuesday. The person that looks after their egg the longest wins a little prize from the egg subcommittee. My egg is a girl called Luna who is a free ranged egg who sleeps most of the day in her comfortable padding packed shoebox house and she is friends with Adele ( Jemmas Egg ) and Eggatha ( Katies Egg ). The rules are ..... you're not allowed to hard boil your egg ( they checked it and the beginning of the contest ), your egg has to have a name, it has to have a face, it has to have a house and you're not allowed to replace your egg if it cracks.

Electronics Tech

         Electronics Tech

This is the emergency portable torch that I made in electronics tech. It took a couple of weeks but it was worth it, I never thought it was going to work but it did. There were 19 steps...... bend the corflute into a triangle, print out a photo of choice, glue it on, drill holes bid enough to fit LEDs, fit in LEDs, mark the - leg with red marker, add copper tape, mark the - and + sides to know which side is which, solder the + sides to the + copper tape, tin and solder wire onto the + legs that can't reach the + copper tape and solder them down, solder resistors on to the - legs and solder them down onto the - copper tape, make a hole big enough for a switch, add a switch into the hole, stick some double sided tape on the bottom, stick a batterie onto the double sided tape, add a batterie snap to the batterie, solder the + wire on the batterie snap to the switch, solder the - wire from the batterie snap on to the - copper tape, cut some more wire and solder it onto the + copper tape and the switch and hot glue the triangle corflute edges together, Switch it on and your done, it sounds quite complex but actually it's not that hard... apart from trying not to burn yourself. :)

Week 5

Image result for guitarMy new learning this week is learning more of the guitar, like learning the cords G, D, Em, A7, A, Bm, and lots more. I also learnt a couple of songs and how to switch betwen them all and I leart how to pick and do some cool strumming. My origanal lesson time was at 8:40am on wednesdays but now the group has been split up in to littler groups based on skill. My gutiar looks like the one in the picture but a slitly different colour of the ring around the sound hole and the neck. I only started playing this year because I have always wanted to learn an instrument.
